Composer hangs when downloading magento/magento2-base package

When I try do a composer install it hangs when downloading Magento base package. I confirmed it’s not the keys. When I enter wrong credentials it just fails and reports the credentials are wrong.

I waited at least one hour. It just hangs. I also ran with -vvv option. It doens’t give any clues.

Does someone have any ideas?
