how i can use core “customer visitor” table in my custom module anyone help..?

Now I need an admin grid to show a collection of customers_visitor. The problem is that I’m not able to populate the grid with the records from the customers_visitor table.

I simply tried to create a new Model/ResourceModel/Collection that links to the core table but that doesn’t work,
