How to add existing email template layout handles to custom emails in Magento 2

I want use ‘sales_email_order_items’ layout handle in my custom email. For that i called ‘sales_email_order_items’ handle in my custom email template, but is not showing order details in email.

How to use ‘sales_email_order_items’ in custom email templates in magento 2.
